Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Network Support Engineer to manage, troubleshoot, and optimize our network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in network configuration, monitoring, and support, ensuring high availability, stability, and security of network operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide L1/L2 support for network-related issues across LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN environments.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
• Monitor network performance and proactively identify issues using network monitoring tools.
• Manage user connectivity issues including IP configuration, DNS, DHCP, and VLAN assignments.
• Support firewall policies, network security rules, and access controls.
• Assist in implementing network changes, upgrades, and expansions.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues between on-premises networks and cloud services.
• Maintain documentation for network diagrams, configurations, and incident reports.
• Work closely with IT Infrastructure teams to support business operations and resolve network escalations.
• Ensure compliance with organizational security standards and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in network support or network administration.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols and concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPN, BGP, OSPF, MPLS.
• Hands-on experience with devices from vendors such as Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, HP, or MikroTik.
• Experience with firewall administration (Fortigate, Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, etc.) is a plus.
• Familiarity with Wi-Fi controllers and access point configurations.
• Experience using network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, ManageEngine, etc.).
• Basic scripting knowledge (Bash/Python/PowerShell) is an added advantage.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, or Network+ preferred.
